                                                    From the JC-LIFE By-Laws
Article I: Objectives
C. The objectives of this organization shall be:
     1. For families to encourage, inform and support one another respecting the autonomy of
each individual family and their right to educate at home.
     2. To offer educational field trips and social opportunities for our children.
     3. To establish a link in a chain of political and legal information and action to be passed on
to individual home school families from statewide and local organizations.
     4. To educate our community and encourage action toward the protection and furtherance of
our legal rights to teach our own children.
D. The organization shall not be affiliated with any specific denomination within the Christian
Faith nor participate in any religious activity that is prejudiced in favor of one denomination,
but shall provide a non denominational vehicle for presenting religious issues in regard to
     home education

Article II: Statement of Faith
A. We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God. (II Timothy 3:16,17; II Peter 1:21)
B. We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, the son of God, came in the flesh, was

born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life with His sacrifice on the cross being complete for the
atonement of sin. Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh
unto the Father, but by me.” (John 1:14, 14:6; I John 4:2,3)
C. We believe that man possesses a bent toward sin and must personally accept the work of the
     Lord Jesus Christ as payment for the penalty of those sins. (Romans 3:23, 6:23; Acts 16:31;
     John 1:12)
WELCOME TO JC-LIFE!
It is my sincere hope that this group blesses you and your family.

If you are new to home schooling, let me congratulate you on this decision.  Home schooling
is a deeply personal and sometimes difficult choice.  We are blessed to live in the great
state of Texas that is willing to recognize our right to this choice.

This group is meant to be a support system.  Both old and new homeschool families find
themselves in the need of support at times.  JC-LIFE offers a wide range of opportunities
for things such as field trips, co-op classes, community service projects, park days, and
mom's night out, just to name a few.  If you need one on one contact for individual support
we would be happy to match you up with an experienced homeschool mom (or dad...we
have many great dads in our group).  Please contact any officer if we can help you in any
way.

There will be many activities made available to you with your membership.  You are
encouraged to participate in as many of these as works for your family.  You are by no
means expected to attend or participate in every activity.

I am only an email away should you have questions or concerns.  I am here to offer support
and help in any way I can.  I may not always know the answer, but I will do my best to find
someone who does.  Your feedback, suggestions, questions, and participation are
encouraged and welcomed.

Sincerely,
Michelle Stogryn
